TYC builds replacement mirrors alongside its lighting range, mostly for the collision-repair trade. This is the left assembly, the driver's side in the US, where federal standard FMVSS 111 requires flat glass rather than convex, so it shows objects at their true size and distance. On most cars the mirror bolts through the door and is reached by removing the inner door trim or a small triangular cover, which is also where its wiring plug sits.

A side mirror assembly is the complete unit: housing, glass, motor and any heating, turn signal or blind-spot electronics. Feature count decides fitment — a mirror with blind-spot monitoring has a different connector and pin count from a plain powered one. Counting the pins on the old plug identifies the right part fastest.
