I took it to a repair shop and they confirmed that it was not the mirror but the base of the side mirror that is attached to the car door that wobbles. They said that it is a manufacturing defect. The passenger side mirror does not wobble."

A 2018 CR-V owner, NHTSA complaint 11559191: "too magnified than the original mirror when purchased the vehicle. The passenger side mirror is this correct mirror as originally purchased the vehicle. It's a safety concern as it is constant balancing of looking into a magnified glass mirror and then a more distant one and causes dizziness."
