Wagner Rear Brake Kit — Pads and Rotors
Wagner · SKU SAP-00010 · Our ref QC1410
Wagner, the American brake brand, supplies rear rotors and pads for everyday cars and light trucks. While the rear wheels are off, check the brake hoses and the hard lines along the rear axle, where corrosion tends to start on cars driven through salted winters. Clean the new rotors of their protective coating, fit the pads with the supplied hardware, and take a few gentle stops to bed them in before any hard braking.
A rear brake kit contains both rear rotors and a full set of rear pads. Rear brakes outlast front ones because the front axle does most of the stopping, so they are often replaced on the second front service. Vehicles with an electric parking brake need the caliper wound back electronically.
In the box: 2 rear brake rotors; 4 rear brake pads (one axle set); Hardware and shims where the application uses them.
Fit check before payment
Order it now. We confirm it fits your car before you pay.
After you place the order, tell us the car's year, make and model, or the VIN, and what the part is for. A person checks the part against that car and sends the invoice only once it is right. If it is not the right part, we cancel the order and you owe nothing.

Common questions
- Will the Wagner Rear Brake Kit — Pads and Rotors fit my car?
- You can order it now, and we confirm it fits before you pay. For this part, fit comes down to whether the rear brakes are discs or drums, the rotor size, and whether the car has an electric parking brake. After you place the order, tell us the car's year, make and model, or the VIN, and what the part is for, either in the checkout notes or in the chat on this site. A person checks the part against that car and sends the invoice only once it is right. If it is not the right part, we cancel the order and you owe nothing.
- Is the Wagner Rear Brake Kit — Pads and Rotors new or used?
- New. It is a new aftermarket part made by Wagner, not a used or rebuilt unit.
- What comes in the box with the Wagner Rear Brake Kit — Pads and Rotors?
- 2 rear brake rotors, 4 rear brake pads (one axle set) and hardware and shims where the application uses them.
- What warranty does the Wagner Rear Brake Kit — Pads and Rotors have?
- It carries Wagner's manufacturer warranty. Wagner's terms differ between product lines, so ask in the chat and we give you the terms for this exact part before you pay.
- How often do rear brakes need replacing?
- Rear brakes typically last one and a half to two times as long as front ones, because the front axle does most of the stopping. Many vehicles are on their second set of front pads before the rears are due.
- Does my car have an electric parking brake?
- If the parking brake is a small switch or button rather than a lever or foot pedal, it is electric. Electric calipers must be wound back with a scan tool or put into service mode before the pads can be changed; forcing the piston damages the actuator.
- Can I fit rear brakes without a scan tool?
- Only on a vehicle with a conventional cable parking brake. With an electric parking brake the caliper must be retracted electronically, and while some models have a manual override procedure, most require a tool that can command service mode.
Checking the fit
